"Mid-Month Mindfulness"
Cancer Wellness Connections is partnering with Mindful Matters to offer several sessions of "Mid-Month Mindfulness" skills.
Mindful means being aware and paying attention in a way that is calm, deliberate, and accepting. For cancer patients and their caregivers, it helps return the focus to the present moment and steers them away from the worry of the unknowns that cancer brings.
It can be helpful to:
Reduce stress and anxiety
Improve sleep
Reduce pain
Improve quality of life
Increase self-awareness
Increase resilience
First session: Mindful Self-Care and Compassion, August 15th, 7-8:15 pm
