Individually designed sessions improve communication and coping skills; strengthen self-esteem; and promote behavior change and optimal mental health. In each session, clients learn a variety of mindful meditation skills to immediately find balance and focus to study, work and live with more ease and reach their personal, academic and professional goals.

An Integrated Approach

It’s common to experience the ways everyday stressors of life get in the way…lack of focus, sleep, frustration, exhaustion…Mindful Matters offers a unique blend of Counseling, Coaching and Mindful Meditation Skills. Laura helps clients identify their own goals and potential solutions to problems which cause emotional turmoil.

What does it look like?

60-minute sessions typically include an opening meditation; check-in/talking; learning & practicing some mindful skills together; and a closing meditation. Sessions are always client-centered and will change and flow.

After one session, Clients will leave with at least 1 skill to practice. After six sessions, clients will have a better understanding of themselves and the basics of an introductory mindfulness class. After 12 sessions, clients will have deeper insights, practices and integration.

Sessions are either in person or remote, via Zoom.
